Cardi B Files For Divorce From Husband Offset After 3 Years of Marriage
CARDI B – Rapper Cardi B filed for divorce from husband Kiari Kendrell Cephus a.k.a. Offset and ask for custody of their 2-year-old daughter.
Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar or better known as Cardi B is an American rapper, songwriter, actress, and tv personality. She started out as an internet celebrity after her videos posted on her Instagram and Vine went viral on all social media platforms.
2 years after her first appearance in tv shows, she decided to focus on her music career. She’s now known for her aggressive and candid lyrics. Forbes even named her as one of the most influential rappers.
In 2017, Cardi B released her first hit song “Bodak Yellow.” The song secured the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 100 chart for 3 consecutive weeks.
In the same year, she began publicly dating the rapper Offset. He proposed to her during a concert at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. In April 2018, she disclosed on the talk show ‘Saturday Night Live’ that she’s pregnant with the rapper’s child.

Cardi B and Offset had secretly married in September 2017. She gave birth to their first child, a daughter named Kulture Kiari Cephus in July 2018.
Recently, the “WAP” rapper is seeking a divorce from her husband. Based on a report from USA Today, she filed the divorce petition in Fulton County, Georgia on Tuesday, September 15.
According to the report, Cardi B also requested for a legal and primary physical custody of their daughter Kulture. She’s also seeking a fair division of their marital assets, legal fees from the divorce, and child support.
