PAGASA – Rolly Slightly Strengthens, About To Leave PH

PAGASA – Weather bureau PAGASA recently said that Tropical storm Rolly Slightly intensifies and is about to leave the PAR.

The weather bureau said in its 11 AM severe weather bulletin that Rolly is likely to remain a tropical storm throughout the forecast period. Fortunately, it no longer directly affects the country.

According to Philippine Star, Rolly, along with Siony and the enhanced northeasterlies, however, will bring rough to very rough seas over the seaboards of Northern Luzon. The bureau warned especially those with small seacrafts that sea travel is riky over the said areas.

The remaining seaboards of Luzon and the eastern seaboards of Visayas and Mindanao, on the other hand, will face moderate to rough seas.

The bureau urged mariners of small seacrafts to take precautionary measures when venturing out to sea. Furthermore, inexperienced mariners should avoid navigating in the said conditions.

The center of Tropical Storm Rolly was last spotted at 540 kilometers west of Subic, Zambales, as of 10 AM, based on the report.

It is packed with maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kilometers per hour. and is moving west Southwestward at 15 kilometers per hour.
