Miss Colombia 2015 on what she feels for Pia Wurtzbach and Steve Harvey five years after the wrong announcement.
PIA WURTZBACH – Five years after the epic mistake, Colombia’s Ariadna Gutierrez reveals feelings towards Pia Wurtzbach and Steve Harvey.
Steve Harvey, aside from being known hosting the Miss Universe pageant for many years now, is also known for his mistake announcing the wrong winner way back 2015. He announced that Miss Colombia 2015 Ariadna Gutierrez is the winner when in the results given to him, it is Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach.
Looking back to that incident which happened five years ago, Ariadna expressed that she doesn’t Pia and Steve and that she has nothing against them. Speaking to Jeff Fernando for Famous Ka, she admitted that she and Pia weren’t able to talk since 2015 due to their busy schedules and she never denied that this has helped her move on from that epic incident.
It made her sad but she moved on and with the opportunities she received right after that made her happy and enjoy live her life. And if given a chance, she would love to meet Pia and come here in the Philippines. She also added clarifying that she never hated them unlike to what people would speculate about her every time she would talk about them in some interviews.
She believed that she and Pia were both victims of the situation. The Miami-based Colombian beauty even said to Pia:
“Pia, if you are watching this, I really would love to meet you very soon. I have nothing but respect for you. I am very happy for all your success and I wish that maybe in the future, we could go together to the Philippines.”
