Kim Chiu’s Terrifying Look Was Inspired by Demonic Nun ‘Valak’
KIM CHIU – Kapamilya star Kim Chiu dressed up as the demonic nun ‘Valak’ to scare her It’s Showtime co-hosts.
After a number of appearances as a guest host on the noontime variety show It’s Showtime, Chinita Princess Kim Chiu officially joined as its newest host on September 28. She opened the episode with a song and dance number.
The Kapamilya star shared her excitement to be part of the program. She said, “thank you for welcoming me and for allowing me to be part of the program. I’m really happy that I will get to spend every day and have fun with the ‘madlang people.’ Thank you very much. Kapamilya Forever.”
In her latest vlog, Kim Chiu dressed up as the terrifying nun to frighten the people in her house and her It’s Showtime co-hosts. Her scary look was inspired by Valak, the demonic nun that was featured in Conjuring 2 and The Nun.
“Pinrank ko ang mga tao sa bahay pati narin ang aking Showtime family! I also got to talk to Kuya Jesus na isang psychic healer. Siya yung nakakita ng tikbalang sa picture ko!! Daming nangyari sa vlog na ‘to, first time ko mang-prank!” she said.

Kim Chiu’s prank scared some of her household staff and fellow celebrities. Phenomenal Star Vice Ganda’s scream was deafening and push Kim. We can’t blame him because the prominent actress really looks scary.
“Walang lumalampas sa akin ng ganun-ganun lang. Humanda ka sa mga susunod na araw,” the comedian said.
