SISTER OANA – Meet Romanian-German actress and producer Ingrid Bisu who played the role ‘Sister Oana’ in the new horror film “The Nun”.

Everyone must be really excited to watch the film “The Nun” a  spin-off of 2016’s The Conjuring 2, and the fifth installment in The Conjuring Universe.

The film was released in the United States on September 7, 2018, by Warner Bros. Pictures. It has grossed $131 million worldwide.

Meanwhile, meet Ingrid Bisu, the gorgeous actress who played the role of Sister Oana in the said film.

Ingrid is known for her appearance in the dramedy Toni Erdmann (2016).

Toni Erdman got nominated at The Cannes Film Festival for the Palme d’Or and also for Best Foreign Film at the Golden Globe Awards and the Academy Awards in 2017.

The film won five awards at the 29th European Film Awards: Best Film (a first for a film directed by a woman), Best Director, Best Screenwriter, Best Actor, and Best Actress.

In the said film is where she made n-k-d scenes – a full frontal n–e scene.

She had her first photo shoot at 16 featured in “Cool Girl”, a known teen magazine during those times.

Ingrid herself got a number of accomplishments as she had been nominated at The Cannes Film Festival, The Golden Globe Awards, and The Academy Awards.

She can speak four languages such as German, English, French, and Latin.

Also, she starred in one of Romania’s first sitcoms, “Casatorie de proba” (“Probation Marriage”)2004, playing the smart and funny girl “Flori”.

She was born in Bucharest and attended prestigious German College “Goethe”. After that, she enrolled at the Hyperion Acting University and got the highest admission score.
