A lady netizen is encouraging the public to help a poor signpen vendor selling pens around downtown area in Bacolod City.

Over the past few months, a lot of Filipino people are already struggling financially due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. The virus does not only affect the public’s health but also affects the global economy.

Many people are already struggling with their finances especially after losing their jobs and source of income. Some of our countrymen have already started their own source of income just to survive.

A Facebook user named Abi Teruel has shared the heartbreaking photo of a poor vendor selling signpen in Bacolod City amid pandemic. The photo touched the hearts of the online community.

In the photo, it can be seen that the hardworking man is selling pens amid the coronavirus pandemic and although the Department of Education suspends the face-to-face learning switched to distance learning system.

If you pass by limmans you’ll see this person selling signpen for P20 (sometimes P10 depending on the pen’s label). Your P20 could be his (or his family’s if he has) source of meal for the day.
Yes we all have personal expenses to pay but we can help the “lesser” fortunate in the little ways we can. God Bless us all.
