Here’s what Gina Alajar revealed about Michael V
Veteran actress Gina Alajar, who is also a director now, revealed something about the attitude of comedian Michael V, also known as Bitoy.
Gina and Bitoy are prominent personalities in the entertainment industry. Over the years, they have proven their talents in various fields. Aside from being an effective antagonist or protagonist, Gina is also doing a great job when it comes to her directing projects.
Bitoy has also done several successful projects such as Bubble Gang and Pepito Manaloto that are still airing until now after several years.
Gina and Bitoy were able to work with each other in the past. During a recent vlog of Aiko Melendez, the Prima Donnas director shared that she directed Bitoy in Eat Bulaga‘s Lenten Special episode titled Tahanan, based on the article from GMA Network.
The comedian played the role of a mentally-challenged man. Gina Alajar said that aside from being a comedy genius, she also admires the professionalism of Michael V.
“Alam mo dinirek ko siya sa Eat Bulaga, ‘yung one Lenten special na he was mentally challenged o incapacitated. Tapos alam mo nagulat ako kasi meron siyang pustisong pinagawa para maiba ‘yung itsura niya, para mas mukha siyang merong illness talaga,” the director said.
Gina also said that Bitoy really studies his character very well. The director added that she seldom sees artists who are like this. “Hindi ko alam na ganu’n niya ini-immerse ‘yung sarili niya sa isang role, sa isang character na gusto niya,” she said.
Knowing that Michael V tested positive for COVID-19, Gina Alajar expressed sadness. “I was one of those who prayed for him and I’m just glad and I’m so happy that the Lord heard the prayers of so many people para gumaling siya,” she added.
