Michael V revealed in his recent vlog that he tested positive for COVID-19
Comedian Michael V tested positive for COVID-19 and he shared his story in his recent vlog.
On his vlog released on the morning of July 20, Bitoy shared that he started experiencing flu-like symptoms on July 14. However, his fever was not that high. At that time he was still doing a vlog about gaming.
From that moment, he said that he already isolated himself. The comedian also shared that losing his sense of smell prompted him to isolate because it was very unusual for him to experience that.
He was also coughing and his voice sounded like his nose was congested. During the Day 5 of his self-quarantine. Bitoy decided to finally take the swab test.
On Day 6, he shared the precautionary measures that he and his family are doing in order to contain the spread of virus if ever his test result would be positive. Michael V said that he is trying hard to maintain his food intake because it was hard for him to eat without his sense of taste.
Thoughout his self-quarantine, he was talking to his family through FaceTime. Bitoy shared how difficult it was for him not to see his wife and kids. “Ang hirap pala no? Lumipas na naman ang isang buong araw na hindi mo sila nayayakap, di mo sila nahalikan, di mo sila nakita,” he said while crying.
However, he is still hopeful that everything will be better. On July 18, Saturday, Day 8 since he started experiencing flu-like symptoms, Michael said that he got an email containing his COVID-19 test result.
He called to the hospital to clarify the information that was stated in the email. Bitoy showed the copy of the email with this statement: “SARS-Cov-2 (causative agent of COVID-19) viral RNA DETECTED”.
The medical personnel who he was talking on the phone apparently confirmed that Michael V tested positive for COVID-19.
