Here’s what Michael V shared about Bubble Gang and Pepito Manaloto
Comedian-content creator Michael V revealed the secret behind the success of gag show Bubble Gang and family sitcom Pepito Manaloto.
Michael, also known as Bitoy in the entertainment industry, is the creative director and lead actor of the longest-running gag show and the award-winning family sitcom.
These two shows have been part of the Filipino household for several years. Bubble has been airing for more than two decades now while Pepito Manaloto has reached its first decade.
Based on the article from The Philippine Star, Bitoy shared that he really loves to bring laughter to people. “I believe you lift a person’s soul when you make them smile and that’s what I’d like to do for as long as I live,” Michael V said.
He was also asked where he finds inspiration for his two well-loved comedy shows. Bitoy said that the internet plays a major role.
“Big ideas come from small things; they’re called ‘smartphones.’ I give a sprinkle of Bubble Gang and a dash of Pepito Manaloto on some random funny (and unfunny) stuff I find online and refurbish it for the screen,” the comedian revealed.
Although he is known for being an effective comedian in front of the camera, Bitoy is also famous now for his vlogs. As a content creator on Youtube, he provides entertaining and yet informative videos for almost anything under the sun.
In one of his vlogs last July, he revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19. Several of his fellow celebrities and fans expressed prayers and support for him amid his health crisis.
On the other hand, Michael V also shared that he suffered from discrimination when he got sick.
