Disappointed Netizen Posts Photo of Self-Learning Module Requiring Grade 3 Students to Write ‘Rap’
The photo of a self-learning module requiring grade 3 students to write a rap song about their life experiences goes viral online.
Over the past few weeks, many Filipino students are posting class modules, which allegedly contain errors and contents not appropriate for learning. A lot of netizens expressed their disappointment due to the modules.
A Facebook user named Kyan Cenita has shared the photo of a self-learning module requiring grade 3 students to make a ‘rap’ from their life experiences. The photo circulates online and garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the photo, it can be seen that the class module urges the students to write a ‘rap’ song. The module orders students to write a poem out from their experiences in life, which is quite difficult for young children.
Cenita also expressed his disappointment to the module and sympathy for his younger sibling. He is confused on how can his sibling make a ‘rap’ on his young age and kids doesn’t have enough experiences in life.
