P47.6 Million Worth Of Drugs Seized In Batangas Bust

BATANGAS BUST – A buy-bust operation in Sto. Tomas, Batangas resulted in P47.6 million worth of drugs and the arrest of four drug suspects..

According to a report from Inquirer says that the Batangas provincial police office identified the four suspects as Joey Liro Mordes, Lanze Esquivel, Angelo Morales, and John Paul Muyco.

The suspects were nabbed during a buy-bust operation along Pan Pacific Highway in Sto. Tomas in the province at around 11:20 PM.

Seized from the suspects were seven kilograms of illegal drugs with a value of P47.6 Million, P500 marked money and a sedan car.

Based on the report, the suspects are detained at the Batangas police station and will be charged for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002

Meanwhile, the youngest brother of Arnel Pineda was arrested in Quezon City due to possession of illegal drugs.

This occurred on Tuesday night in a sting operation, where they arrested Rusmon Pinedam as well as a barangay police of Barangay Sacred Heart.

Authorities have seized four sachets of illegal drugs which is worth P136,000 from the suspects. The police reported that a suspect they arrested prior snitched on them, saying that Rusmon was the source.
