Brother of Arnel Pineda Nabbed in Quezon City Due to Illegal Drugs
The youngest brother of Arnel Pineda, the Filipino rockstar and rock band Journey vocalist was arrested in Quezon City due to possession of illegal drugs.
Based on the report of Jervis Manahan of ABS-CBN, Quezon City police arrested the youngest brother of Arnel, Rusmon Pineda, in a drug operation, Tuesday night. Authorities found Rusmon possessed illegal drugs..

Along with rockstar’s brother, a barangay police of Barangay Sacred Heart was also arrested. The operation conducted at the corner of Scout Santiago and A. Roces Avenue in Barangay Obrero around 11 p.m.
The authorities have seized four sachets of illegal drugs “bato” worth P136,000. According to Police Capt. Nazarino Emia of QCPD Station 10, they had a suspect arrested earlier who said Rusmon was a source of drugs.
However, Rusmon declined to comment on the crime. The guard said that the singer’s brother was actually selling drugs and was just riding his motorcycle. The two were detained at the Kamuning Police Station.
