Julia Barretto, Daughter of Dennis Padilla, Files Case Against Veteran Broadcaster Jay Sonza
DENNIS PADILLA – The actor-comedian broke his silence on the decision of his daughter, Julia Barretto, to file a case against Jay Sonza.
One of the biggest celebrity issues that recently crossed the surface involved Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson. The two Kapamilya stars were accused of being parents to a still unborn baby.
The said accusation came from veteran broadcaster Jay Sonza. According to him, Julia is pregnant and the father of the baby is the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate.
Back in 2019, Julia and Gerald were also involved in several issues. The young actress was accused of being the third party in his breakup with Bea Alonzo.
Both Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto denied the accusations. As to the former PBB housemate, the causes of his breakup with Bea are matters inside their relationship.

Following the claim of Jay Sonza putting Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson in bad light, the young actress filed charges against the veteran broadcaster. Her decision has the support of her family.
Speaking to Cinema News Home Edition, Dennis Padilla stressed that Julia Barretto is already of legal age and has the right to protect herself. He feels pity towards her daughter because of the issues surrounding her at the age she must be focusing on her career.
“I hope wag nang umabot sa kasuhan… Kaya lang siyempre karapatan rin naman ng anak ko na mag file ng kaso,” the comedian said.
Based on a report on Push, Dennis Padilla asks Jay Sonza of a public apology to Julia Barretto and their family. He stressed that the Baldivias and the Barrettos love Julia so much.
The actor-comedian expressed that he supports Julia in her decision although he hoped that it will not lead to the court. He also revealed that he texted his daughter telling her that he’s just a text way and he’s in Batangas for a taping of a new projet.
According to Dennis, Julia responded and thanked him. She also reminded her father to be safe and to observe all the health protocols.
