PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Saturday (October 3)

LATEST WEATHER UPDATE – The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the trough of a low-pressure area and habagat would affect the country’s weather condition.

On Saturday (October 3, 2020), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. The low-pressure area’s trough and the southwest monsoon would affect the weather conditions over some parts of the country.

PAGASA said that the LPA’s trough would bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, Bicol Region, Nueva Ecija, Aurora, Quezon as well as the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas.

The southwest monsoon or localized thunderstorms would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers are also expected over Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon, and Marinduque.

Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country are also expected to experience the same weather condition.

The weather agency also warned the residents to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile the coastal water conditions over the northern and eastern section of Luzon, eastern Visayas, and the rest of the country would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
