NATIONAL ID SYSTEM REGISTRATION – Recently, the government announced the follow-up to their plans of establishing a national identification system.

Among the reasons for this is to have a centralized card where all if not most of the government-mandated IDs could be integrated. As such, the government announced that the registration for this would begin this October.

Yesterday, they announced that they plan to have the majority of Filipinos enrolled in the system by 2022. Furthermore, the DILG said that they would prioritize household heads of around 32 provinces.
