Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington, Rose Leslie Announce They Are Expecting 1st Child
GAME OF THRONES – Rose Leslie and Kit Harington, who played star-crossed lovers Ygritte and Jon Snow on ‘Game of Thrones,’ announced they are expecting their first child.
English actor and producer Kit Harington rose to prominence in 2011 after playing the role of Jon Snow in the hit HBO fantasy series ‘Game of Thrones.’ The show brought him international recognition and several awards.
The 33-year-old actor also met the love of his life, Rose Leslie, on the set of the show, playing the love interests Jon Snow and Ygritte. They were spotted on a date and GOT’s fandom basically exploded. They announced their engagement in 2017.
In 2018, Kit Harington and Rose Leslie tied the knot at a castle in Scotland. Their wedding was attended by many of the celebrity couple’s GOT co-stars including Emilia Clarke, Maisie Williams, Peter Dinklage, and Sophie Turner.

Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are believed to be expecting their first child together after photos of the actress with a growing baby bump went viral on social media. Their pregnancy was revealed in an interview for ‘Make Magazine.’
Fashion editor Ursula Lake shared Rose’s lovely photo on her Instagram account. It came with a caption, “So wonderful working with the beautiful Rose Leslie for the cover story of @make_magazineuk out now! A very special all woman team photographic shoot capturing Rose at this wonderful time as she prepares for motherhood for the first time!”
Rose’s picture was liked by her former co-star Sophie Turner.
Based on a report from Cosmopolitan, Rose Leslie revealed that she and her husband have decided to raise their family in the English countryside.
“What a glorious thing to be able to run to the countryside and recoup…”
“It’s a great privilege to be surrounded by greenery, birdsong and hedgerows, and our delightful neighbors. It’s so peaceful,” she added.
