Angelica Panganiban Announces Decision to Retire from Teleseryes

ANGELICA PANGANIBAN – Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban revealed that her forthcoming drama will be her final one.

Filipina actress Angelica Panganiban began her journey in the entertainment industry when she was just 6 years old. Until now, she kept on rising and still going up.

The 33-year-old actress has remained relevant to the showbiz industry for decades and winning award after award. She is considered as one of the top Pinoy actress and comedians in the country.

During the virtual press conference for her new soap opera titled “Walang Hanggang Paalam” last Sept 25, Angelica Panganiban disclosed why her new series will be an unforgettable project for her. She and actor Paulo Avelino are set to star in a new series that will be premiered globally on September 28.

Angelica will play the role of a nurse and a single mother named Celine who is the former girlfriend of Avelino’s character Emman.

“Masyadong personal sa akin kung bakit siguro magiging importante itong Walang Hanggang Paalam dahil dito rin ako nakapag-decide kung ano talaga yung mahalaga sa buhay. So masaya ako ngayon na i-share at masaya ako dahil ang nakasama ko dito sa project na ito itong mga director na ito, itong grupong ito, mga artistang ito, dahil gusto ko na magpaalam sa larangan ng teleserye. So maraming maraming salamat sa lahat ng mga nagawa kong projects sa ABS-CBN,” she said.

Angelica Panganiban said she has no plans to transfer tv networks but she will stop doing soap operas. She said this teleserye will surely leave a mark on her heart.

“I’m not leaving ABS-CBN pero siguro hanggang dito na lang po ang mga trabahong gagawin ko pagdating sa soap opera. Di ba exciting? Masarap panuorin dahil huling project ko na ‘to. Graduate na po ako sa teleserye. So alam ko na ito’y tatatak sa puso ko, sa isip ko dahil maraming marami akong natutunan sa grupong ito, sa project na ito, madami akong na-discover sa sarili ko na mga hindi ko inakalang kaya kong gawin,” she said.

Angelica Panganiban also shared about their lock-in taping in Subic. She said “Walang Hanggang Paalam” includes a lot of drama and action scenes.

“Sana mapanuod niyo yung huling proyekto na gagawin ko dahil kailangan maging proud sa akin yung mga sumusuporta sa akin and I won’t let you down with this. Sana suportahan niyo yung Walang Hanggang Paalam,” Angelica said.
