Angelica Panganiban doesn’t want to transfer to TV5?
Is it true that actress Angelica Panganiban is not included in her gag show’s transfer to TV5?
Angelica is one of the pioneer cast members of the defunct Kapamilya gag show Banana Split until it became Banana Sundae. However, due to the pandemic and the ABS-CBN franchise denial, the show had to bid goodbye.
Previously, it was reported that the Kapatid network will adapt the two comedy shows of Direk Bobot Mortiz. However, based on the article by Jun Lain in Pang-Masa, former Congressman Albee Benitez, is one of the major blocktimers of the Kapatid network.

The columnist asked a source from TV5 if it is true that Benitez’s got the seven-hour timeslot. “Bale for three shows ‘yung slots na blocktimed ni Albee. Bale isang game show, isang comedy at isang iko-comfirm pa,” Lalin’s source shared.
When asked if the three shows are intended for the primetime slot, the source said that it is not yet allowed to divulge the details about these projects.
According to Lalin, it is still not sure if the comedy show refers to Banana Sundae although this title is not allowed to be used in other networks. On the other and, the columnist shared that the cast members of the defunct Kapamilya gag show are excited about the show that Benitez will produce because of them are included in the project.
However, Lalin said that it might be impossible for Angelica Panganiban to be included in the comedy show on TV5. It is because she still has a TV series that will be shown on the Kapamilya Channel.
Reportedly, Angelica is set to start the lock-in taping for the teleserye titled Walang Hanggang Paalam.
