Around 100 People Arrested In Tomas Morato, QC
HEALTH PROTOCOL VIOLATIONS – Around 100 people were arrested in a bar in Tomas Morato, Quezon City (QC) for not following health protocols.
Due to the community quarantine, Metro Manila strictly imposed several health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19. These include curfews, banning of alcohol, the mandatory wearing of face shields and masks, and especially, social distancing.
However, according to a report from DZMM, one bar seemingly violated all of these protocols. Furthermore, the Kamuning Police Station reported the bar violated protocols on social distancing, curfew, drinking, and not wearing face shields and face masks.

In the video posted by DZMM on Twitter, you could see several people getting outside of the bar as authorities waited outside. Afterward, the bar patrons were carried on police vehicles going to the nearest precinct.
Naturally, some of the people arrested were ashamed of being caught and opted to hide their faces as they waited for the next instructions from authorities.
In South Korea, one of the reasons why the 2nd wave of COVID-19 spread was due to an asymptomatic patient who went bar hopping as soon as the restrictions were lifted. South Korea was one of the prime examples of countries with good COVID-19 responses, still, it faced issues the moment it went lax on social distancing protocols.
