Here’s what Michael V shared about ‘Pepito Manaloto’
Kapuso comedian Michael V shared the new normal setup of his family-oriented sitcom Pepito Manaloto: Ang Tunay Na Kuwento.
The sitcom on GMA released its pilot episode on March 28, 2010. Two years after that the show was about to have its end but it was extended until now. It now has its subtitle “Ang Tunay Na Kuwento” to extend the story of the top-rating show.
As the entertainment industry is also adapting to the new normal shootings and shows also have to follow the protocols. Based on the article from Bandera, Pepito Manaloto will have its comeback episode on Saturday.
Due to the new normal, the cast members of the show, Michael V., Manilyn Reynes, John Feir, Maureen Larrazabal, Arthur Solinap, Mosang, Mikoy Morales, Janna Dominguez, and Ronnie Henares will have a “kumustahan” segment and games for this weekend’s episode.

Bitoy will also share his experience as a COVID-19 survivor to educate and inspire other people in dealing with this disease. As the creative director and the concept creator of the hit sitcom, Michael said, “The cast and I are all very excited! We have a lot of quarantine stories we would love to share with our audience.”
He added that their comeback episode on Saturday is a good way to start the new normal in their show. Bitoy shared that shooting from home is far different from what they are doing on the set of the show.
“There’s a lot of discipline involved. You gain a new appreciation for the crew during times like these,” he added. However, the comedian gave assurance to the viewers that they will still enjoy watching Pepito Manaloto.
“Makakaasa ang mga Kapuso natin na hindi mawawala ang signature Pepito humor sa upcoming episodes. Maaaring iba na ang ‘ulam’ pero ‘kanin’ pa rin ang katapat,” Michael V said.
