VP Robredo Playing Deaf To Government’s Coronavirus Response

ROBREDO PLAYING DEAF – Vice President Leni Robredo has been vocal about her ideas to address the coronavirus in the country.

However, following Robredo’s suggestions, it seemed that Malacañang didn’t take lightly to her criticism. As such, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque emphasized that Robredo was merely playing “blind and deaf” to the government’s responses.

During Robredo’s radio program last Sunday, she emphasized that the government should conduct a periodic assessment of the pandemic rather than issuing an extension of the state of calamity until next year.

According to an article from Philstar, Harry Roque stated:

Following this, Roque thanked Robredo for her suggestions, however, he asserted that the suggestions are already being done. Furthermore, Roque added that Robredo should give suggestions on what the government hasn’t done.
