Sick Woman and Child Living Under Poverty Line Break Hearts of Netizens
The heartbreaking photos of a sick woman and child living under the line of poverty goes viral after it was posted on social media.
The Facebook page “Kapamilya world” has shared the heartbreaking photos of a poor mother and child living in a shanty and experiencing extreme poverty due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. The photos elicit comments from the online community.
In the photos, it can be seen that the sick woman looks so thin and unhealthy because of her illness. The woman together with her children were living in a small and ruined shanty. One of her kids is just sleeping on the floor made up of bamboo.
The sick lady has been identified as Annalyn Monteruso, a resident of Zone 7 Brgy. Apad Ragay in Camarines Sur. Annalyn and her husband are working as tailors but the health crisis affect their livelihood.
Monteruso is also suffering from an illness but due to poverty she never went to a doctor for medication and treatment. She is also asking help from netizens to repair their roof and for her kid’s milk.

“Kaawa-awa ang sitwasyon ng mag inang ito sa kanilang barong barong sa zone 7 Brgy.Apad Ragay Camarines sur.
Siya si Annalyn Monteruso ,may tatlong mga Anak, Pananahi ang hanapbuhay nilang mag-asawa ,pero dahilan sa pandemya labis na naapektuhan ang kanilang pinagkakakitaan, Sa ngayon may iniindang sakit si Analyn pero dahil sa dala ng kahirapan hindi pa niya ito nasubukang ipatingin sa Docktor, Makikita sa litrato na tila nagsisiksikan sa maliit na barong-barong ang pamilya, Kaya ngayong nalalapit na ang kapaskuhan, kumakatok si Analyn sa may mabubuting puso na sana kahit yero lamang ng kanilang bahay at gatas ng kanyang anak ay merong taos pusong magpaabot at tumulong💔😞“
