Regine Velasquez shared this photo of the rain

Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez said in her recent Instagram post, “tuwing umuulan kasalanan ko,” and here’s the reason why.

Undoubtedly, Regine is one of the most successful singers in the Philippines. Just like other stars in the showbiz industry, she also ventured into different fields. She did movies, TV series, and even talk shows.

She became active on social media as she is also now a vlogger. Regine started her YouTube channel with her husband OPM icon Ogie Alcasid. In one of her recent posts on her Instagram account, the singer-actess shared a photo of the rain.

The caption of her post appeared to be a disclaimer. She clarified that she has nothing to do with the strong rain. “Hala lakas ng ulan!!!!! Hindi po ako nakanta ng minsa pa ulan bumuhus ka’t wag ng tumigil pa ha!!!!! Baka masisi na naman ako,” Regine Velasquez wrote.

The Songbird also used this as her hashtag: “tuwing umuulan kasalanan ko”. Regine recorded the song Tuwing Umuulan Kapiling Ka in 2001 for her movie Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw. This song has been recognized with her name but it was first recorded by OPM icon Basil Valdez in the 1970s.

Fellow celebrities of Regine laugh at her post such as Erik Santos and Pops Fernandez. Here is the post of the Songbird.

Meanwhile, Regine Velasquez previously shared that she got stuck in their elevator at home during the lockdown. She said that it happened after she and Ogie had a fight.

Regine had to stay their for 30 minutes as the elevator’s UV light sanitizer malfunctioned.
