Regine Velasquez Stuck In Elevator After Fight With Ogie Alcasid
REGINE VELASQUEZ STUCK IN ELEVATOR – Being in a relationship has its ups and downs. Couples often fight, which is a natural thing. Meanwhile, some fights just lead being stuck in an elevator.
Asia’s Song Bird Regine Velasquez recalled a story about how she got trapped in their home elevator. Apparently, the incident happened after she and her husband, Ogie Alcasid, got into an argument.
According to an article from PEP, the incident happened on April 22, 2020. Furthermore, she recalled that it was the first time she and Ogie had a fight amidst the entire lockdown. Surprisingly, she said that it was the first time Ogie raised his voice in the 10 years they were together.
Opting to take a breather from the drama, Regine took the home elevator of their three-story house. However, when she got inside, the elevator got stuck.
“Nakulong ako sa elevator… on my birthday. Dito sa bahay”, the singer said. Moreover, she said that Ogie never looked for her after they had an argument.
But, Regine said that it wasn’t Ogie’s fault that she was trapped. As per the report, Regine explained that it was because of their UV light sanitizer that the elevator wouldn’t work.
She said that when the UV light sanitizer was on, the elevator goes on automatic lockdown to ensure nobody leaves and gets exposed to the UV light. Regine said she was stuck for more than 30 minutes until she figured out how to open it herself.
Meanwhile, Ogie wanted to clarify that he was on the top floor of their house when the incident happened. “I was reading a book and Nate was saying, ‘I think I can hear Mom. I think Mom’s screaming”, he said.
