Here’s Why Kanye West Pee On His Grammy Award

KANYE WEST – Here is the reason why rapper Kanye West peed on his own Grammy statuette.

One of the highest-paid musicians in the world is the American rapper, songwriter, and fashion designer Kanye West. He has won 21 Grammy Awards and has been nominated 69 times.

On America’s birthday, the rapper took to his Twitter account to announce that he’s running for president. He said, “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States!”

Recently, Kanye West took to Twitter to slam the music industry for not letting him own the master recordings of his songs. On Tuesday, September 15, he started criticizing them for comparing it and the National Basketball Association (NBA) to “modern-day slave ships.”

The Grammy award-winning rapper said he wanted to own the masters of his songs so that his kids could own them too. He said “complicated contracts” are how companies “take advantage of talent.”

He argued, “In the streaming world master ownership is everything… that is the bulk of the income… in COVID artists need our masters… it’s more important than ever before.”

In another Tweet, Kanye West said, “When you sign a music deal you sign away your rights. Without the masters you can’t do anything with your own music. Someone else controls where it’s played and when it’s played. Artists have nothing accept the fame, touring and merch.”

He also uploaded pages of the deal he had with the music label Universal Records. What shocks his fans is the video of himself apparently peeing on his Grammy Award. He captioned his post, “Trust me… I WON’T STOP.”
