Kanye West 2020 White House Bid Is Over
KANYE WEST – Billionnaire rapper Kanye West has dropped his 2020 presidential bid.
American songwriter, rapper, and fashion designer Kanye West is one of the highest-paid musicians in the world. Last month, he launched a college fund for George Floyd’s daughter. He also donated a huge amount to the families of Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery.
On America’s national holiday, Independence Day, the award-winning musician took to his Twitter account to announce that he’s running for president. He said, “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision, and building our future. I am running for president of the United States!”
Following Kanye West’s announcement, Taylor Swift’s fans reacted. They also want the superstar to run for president in 2020.
Based on a report from New York Magazine, Kanye West’s adviser Steve Kramer confirmed has confirmed the rapper is dropping out of the election. He already shared his campaign plans during his interview with Forbes but he did not submit any paperwork with the Federal Election Commission, a FEC form is a necessary step to become a candidate.
According to the report, Kanye West’s wife Kim Kardashian has been very supportive in his campaign. A source told the site Entertainment Tonight online that “Kanye’s family will always support him in his endeavors but they also worry for him. Kanye has a tendency to overwork himself physically, emotionally, and mentally and not take time to rest and reset.”
Last July 9, TMZ reported that Kanye West’s family was concerned that his presidential aspirations was just due to a bipolar episode.
