Kanye West Announces He Running For President Of United States
KANYE WEST – Award-winning musician Kanye West officially announced that he’s running for president of the United States.
American rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, and fashion designer, Kanye West is one of the most acclaimed musicians of his generations. He has won 21 Grammy Awards has been nominated 69 times.
Last month, the award-winning musician launched a college fund for the daughter of late George Floyd. He also reportedly donated $2 million to the families of Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor.
On America’s birthday, July 4, Kanye West took to his Twitter to officially announce that he is running for president. He wrote, “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States!”
He ended his Independence Day Tweet with a #2020VISION hashtag.
This is not the first time Kanye West talked about running for the highest office in the land. But now, he seems determined to manage the whole country. During his MTV Video Music Awards speech in 2015, he revealed that he was planning to run for president in 2020.
Last November, the rapper talked about moving his company Yeezy to the US to offer new jobs. He said, “when I run for president in 2024, we would’ve created so many jobs that I’m not going to run, I’m going to walk.”
