Darren Espanto Cleared Out The Speculations About His True Gender
Singer-actor Darren Espanto cleared out and dismissed the critics’ allegations about his true gender identity with Kyle Echarri.
The allegation to Darren Espanto that he was gay was muttered when the two young singers, he and JK Labajo, who hails from The Voice Kids Philippines, were involved in a word war on Twitter.
It all started when JK’s account posted “gayness as its finest” and tagged Darren’s account. And so the controversy arose, their issue has sparks criticisms from the online community.
The young singer defended himself against critics and those who sided with JK Labajo. However, JK also denied the accusations and said he did not tweet those words to Darren.

And now for the first time, Darren Espanto has ended speculations about his true gender. According to the 19-year-old singer, when he was young she was receiving “pamba-bash” or ridicule from various people.
However, those ridicules get worsed because he is more popular and due to social media people. He said it is possible that his way of squeezing high songs is one of the reasons why he is called for a gay.
“A lot of people are like ‘bakla’ yan kasi… ‘. Ever since The Voice Kids, when I started singing songs for girls or like I have a high voice in general they always assume my gender preference pretty much. But I’d like to let everyone know that I’m straight,” Espanto said in a new vlog of his close friend Kyle Echarri.
