Darren Espanto Confesses He Has Had Girlfriends in Show Business
DARREN ESPANTO – Kapamilya singer Darren Espanto confessed that he has had girlfriends in showbusiness.
Filipino-Canadian singer Darren Espanto rose to prominence after joining the ‘The Voice Kids Philippines’ season 1. He later became part of Kapamilya’s Star Magic.
In a previous article, the 18-year-old celebrity will be representing the country in China’s famous singing competition “Singer 2020.” He appeared and performed on the show’s finals last year.
Recently, Darren Espanto was interviewed on Random Republika. He willingly shared his romantic life and his parents have been very supportive of this romantic life.
“It’s part of growing up din. My parents are supportive naman as long as alam nilang matino ‘yung kino-court kung babae,” he said.
Darren Espanto confessed that he had girlfriends who are also part of the entertainment industry. “Throughout my stay here in the Philippines, opo [nagka-girlfriend ako]. Lahat sila in showbiz,” he said.
An interviewer asked the young singer if Kyline Alcantara is one of his ex-girlfriends. “Masasabi ko lang ‘yung mga fans talagang very alam nila eh,” he replied.
The singer explained what happened to his past relationships and why it didn’t work out. He replied, “I feel like kasi when you are a kid you don’t really know what you really want yet in life and I feel like it is better for me and for everyone I dated in the past kasi mas mature na po kami ngayon and alam na po namin ang gusto namin.”
