Edward Barber, Maymay Entrata Registered To Vote For Upcoming 2022 Elections
2022 ELECTIONS – On-screen partners Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber registered to vote for the upcoming elections.
The 2022 Presidential election is scheduled to be held on May 9, 2022. Surely, there are Filipinos who couldn’t wait to cast their votes because they are disappointed with the performance of some government officials.
As the elections draw near, several Filipino celebrities took to their social media accounts to encourage their countrymen especially the youth to vote for the upcoming elections. Among the celebrities who pushed the young to register were Saab Magalona, Jennylyn Mercado, and Jake Ejercito.
On Thursday, September 10, Kapamilya on-screen couple Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber registered to vote for the upcoming elections. The British-Filipino actor shared some of their photos on his Instagram account.
In the caption, he encouraged young Pinoys to register themselves for the future of their country.
“Registered to vote @iamrobidomingo @maymay. Make sure you do too! Let’s change the course of our nation and write OUR OWN history. #WeTheYouth #40MStrong,” he wrote.
During the registration, Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber were accompanied by their fellow celebrity Robi Domingo. He also shared their photos on his IG account. It came with a caption, “Dati sila ang binoboto niyo sa Pbb. Ngayon sila naman ang boboto para sa kinabukasan. Ikawm nakapag-register ka na ba?”
There are speculations that Manila mayor Isko Moreno will run for vice president in the 2022 elections. He recently broke his silence on the issue.
The actor-turned-politician said all politicians including himself aspire for a higher position and everyone wants to be the president of the country.
“Lahat ng pulitiko gustong maging Presidente kaya ngayon maraming atat. Napansin mo ngayon, iyong ibang pulitiko mema – may masabi lang to be involved,” he said.
