The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was spotted in southern Luzon and is embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) which would affect Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao on this day.

According to GMA News, the LPA was estimated at 965 kilometers east of southern Luzon. Its Trough will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region and Samar provinces.

The bureau warned that that flash floods or landslides may occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to ITCZ and localized thunderstorms. Again, the bureau warned that that flash floods or landslides may occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, for the wind speed forecast, the Visayas and the eastern section of Luzon will face light to moderate winds that are moving in the northeast to northwest direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.

The rest of Luzon will face light winds that are moving in the northeast to north direction while facing slight coastal waters.

Mindanao will face light winds that are moving in the south to southwest direction while facing slight coastal waters.
