Netizens bashed EJ Laure for her relationship with Bugoy Cariño
Volleyball player EJ Laure was bashed by netizens due to her romantic relationship with the young actor and then minor Bugoy Cariño.
In the early part of 2018, rumors circulated that Bugoy impregnated EJ. The young couple denied the speculations. The young actor, reportedly, was just 15 years old back then while EJ was 19.
Just recently, Bugoy shared a photo on his Instagram account confirming that he and EJ now have a child who they named Scarlet. The volleyball player also shared a slideshow video showing photos of her little family to celebrate the birthday of her partner.
The revelation or just a sort of confirmation from the young couple brought shock to the online community. Their names topped the Twitter trend on Friday. Many netizens congratulated them as they finally introduced their baby Scarlet.
However, there were those who pointed out that the rumors more than two years ago were really true while some justified why the couple had to deny the pregnancy speculations.
Since Bugoy Cariño was a minor back then, several netizens also threw bad accusations against EJ Laure. Many Twitter users expressed disgust against the volleyball player for having a relationship with a minor. Some even called her negative names.
