Lady Netizen Expresses Dismay Over Alleged “S&R Promo Scam”
A lady netizen has expressed her complaints about the alleged “S&R promo scam” and post it on social media to raise awareness.
A Facebook user named Mimi Bermas-Beltran has expressed her disappointment towards S&R and Landers superstore over alleged promo scam. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
Beltran and her sibling went to the supermarket to shop and bought some “buy1 take1” items to save. However, she did not notice that the items have still the regular price on the receipt instead of the discounted price due to promo.
Mimi’s sibling complained to the employees regarding the issue and even talked to the supervisor and manager. She also expressed her dismay after the manager and the supervisor asked one another if the items were really under promo.
The female customer told the employees not to declare promos if the items were not updated in the system to prevent confusion to customers. She also posts the incident to raise awareness and warn her fellow customers.

I read several posts regarding Snr’s promo “scam”.
So tinawag pa pinaka bisor tinawag pa manager. Kinuha pa nila yung mismong naka post. Hassle talaga.
What pissed me of is that the manager and the supervisor would ask one another “sale ba talaga yan?” so ang ginawa namin, binalikan pa namin LAHAT ng binili kong buy1take1. Sobrang tagal e gutom na gutom na kami.
I said “sana di kayo nagpopromo lalo kung di updated sa system nyo”
It pays of to be alert. Bantayan mabuti ang pinapunch. Kadalasan pati doble doble nila napapunch.
