Health Chief Francisco Duque Reveals Real Health Condition Of Duterte
DUTERTE HEALTH CONDITION – Health Secretary Francisco Duque reveals the real health condition of President Duterte during an interview.
Recently, President Duterte’s health status has been a highly talked about topic with his critics saying he should be more open about his condition. However, the President and members of his admin had long said that the President was still Healthy.
However, a month ago, Duterte revealed that he has Buerger’s disease and Barrett’s esophagus, admitting he experiences occasional headaches. Furthermore, he said that he also had spinal issues which he blames on a motorcycle accident when he was 68-years-old.
Meanwhile, during an interview, Duque stated that the president was in a “good state of health” despite the President’s announcement of his esophagus condition. According to an article from Inquirer, Duque stated:
“Okay naman siya. Kapag nagmimeeting kami, malinaw naman ang kanyang mga direktiba. Malinaw naman ang kanyang mga sinasabi at ang kanyang frame of mind ay very clear”
“Maayos naman siya, ‘yung kulay naman niya, okay naman, Wala naman akong nakikitang problema. He is in a good state of health”, Duque added.
Additionally, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque also emphasized that Duterte was heading the advice of his doctors years ago. During an interview with CNN, Roque said:
So you’re talking of medical advice that happened many years ago, even prior to the presidency. And I think the reason why the President stopped drinking is to prevent it from developing into stage 1 cancer. That is the context of what the President said.
