KC Concepcion Reveals Why She’s Scared About Getting Married During Her 20s
KC CONCEPCION – Actress KC Concepcion admitted she’s scared about getting married during her 20s.
Filipina actress and entrepreneur KC Concepcion is the daughter of veteran actors Gabby Concepcion and Megastar Sharon Cuneta. Her parents decided to go on separate ways not long after they got married.
The 35-year-old actress is single until now and seems like she’s enjoying it. In a previous article, KC’s mom left her a message that touched the hearts of the netizens.
During a FB live interview, KC Concepcion revealed why she’s scared about getting married during her 20s. Commitment has become a word of fear and the divorce of her parents impacted her own love life.
ABS-CBN writer Mela Habijan asked KC about her insecurities. She said “during the quarantine, ito, super open ito, ha… and I think alam niyo naman ito… parang I really… kasi, parang I grew up na takot sa marriage. Takot minsan sa lalaki, ganun.”
KC Concepcion said tends to love smarter. To avoid heartbreaks, she leaves them first. “Parang feeling ko, bago nila ako iwanan, iwan ko muna sila. ‘Ako na mauuna,’” she said.
“’Tapos in my 20s, I was never really ready to settle down, even now in my early 30s.”
“It’s, like, and it wasn’t until the lockdown, the global pandemic that I really always say, ‘Wow, now I know the value of having a partner. Now I know the value of having a good partner, a boyfriend, or in the future, a husband.’”
“In a situation like this, if you don’t live with your family anymore, it would be nice to have [an] equal be with you at home—to somebody to lean on,” she added.
