Famous comedian Vice Ganda has this statement hopeful to return of their network.
VICE GANDA – Kapamilya comedian and host Vice Ganda has this statement being hopeful that ABS-CBN will rise again and will go back airing.
Massive job loss has happened when the biggest media company with over 11,000 employees, ABS-CBN, has closed down. This is after 70 votes killed and junked their franchise renewal application. It has broken lots of hearts. The decision came after 13 comprehensive and exhaustive congressional hearings.
And in Its Showtime, one contestant has expressed it sentiment and her share of stories about how the programs of the network have made an impact to them who are inside the prison. The contestant named Alexis Ramirez shared that the only request from her is TV PLUS, the black box of the network.
“Nakakatuwa ano, nakaaliw kaya sa mga katulad mo at sa mga kasamahan mo dati sa kulungan na naging bahagi na kami ng buhay. Pasensiya na po hindi niyo kami nakakasama sa pagkakataong ito pero pangako po namin gumagawa po kami ng paraan para muli kaming makabalik sa mga buhay ninyo, samahan niyo kami sa pagdarasal,” says Vice Ganda in response to the contestant as per PUSH.
He furthered that the shut down did not only affected the employees’ lives but also the loyal viewers of the network. And just like them, they will also set free. He said, “Lalaya tayong muli.”
He asked for forgiveness for they cannot be with their loyal viewers for now and also asked to pray with them because they will surely go return again and be of service to the people.
