Lady Netizen Earns Criticisms Online After Posting Edited Photo Disrespecting President Duterte
A lady netizen earns criticisms from the online community after disrespecting President Duterte for posting an edited photo.
On Monday (August 31, 2020), President Rodrigo Duterte visited the site of the twin blasts in Jolo, Sulu. He pays respect and kissed the ground since the victims weren’t able to pray to Allah or talk to God before the incident.
A Facebook user named Mariza Anzia has shared the screenshot of a lady netizen identified as Laarni Villaluz who posted the edited photo of President Duterte while kissing the ground in Jolo. The post garnered various reactions from the netizens.
In the photo, it can be seen that Laarni edited the picture of President Duterte kissing the ground in Jolo Sulu to pay tribute and respect to the victims of twin blasts in the area. She edited the photo and put a bowl of dog food towards Mr. Duterte’s face.
Anzia expressed her disappointment and fury towards Villaluz for disrespecting the president’s gesture. She also urged the public to respect each other especially during this time of the pandemic.
