Poor Man Receives Help from Kind Family After He Was Evicted From Rented House
A kind family earned praises from the online community after helping and adopting a poor man who was evicted from the house he is renting,
The Twitter page “Inquirer” has shared the photos of a kind-hearted family in Santa Rosa City, Laguna after helping and adopting a poor guy identified as Rey Avila. The online community lauded the kind family.
The 26-year-old guy posted his plead on social media asking for plywood and room to create a shanty house after he was evicted by his landlord from his boarding house for failing to pay the rent.
Luckily, the Canapi Family respond to his plead and offered their vacant house to Avila instead of giving him materials. The poor man reportedly lost his job due to the pandemic and he has no other source of income.
Mark Kenneth Canapi revealed that Avila is formerly working as a security guard at a fast-food chain but lost his job due to the health crisis. Avila is also a Person Under Investigation (PUI) and a victim of a hit-and-run incident.

“Hindi po talaga namin iyon kilala ni Mama. Naawa lang talaga si Mama kasi marami na rin pong nangyari sa kanya, Tapos nagkataon po na bakante iyong isang bahay. Ayun, pinatira niya muna doon si Sir Avila pansamantala hangga’t wala pa siyang trabaho,” Canapi said.
Aside from the free house, the Canapi family would also shoulder the electricity and water bill of the house. They are also giving food and grocery items towards the poor guy.
