Here’s the COVID-19 experience of Lovely Abella
Dancer-actress Lovely Abella revealed her experienced after she tested positive for COVID-19.
Lovely is known for her bubbly personality and even her vlogs consist her funny moments with friends and her partner Benj Manalo. However, after learning that her COVID-19 test result was positive, Lovely was devastated.
Based on the article from Bandera, the dancer-actress had her “kasambahay” tested who had symptoms of the virus. As Lovely was also tested, she learned that she was positive but asymptomatic.
“Sa rapid test po medyo may two lines po na ibig sabihin before nagkaroon na po ako ng virus, pero ngayon wala na akong virus sa katawan ko. Pero po dahil po ‘yung kasambahay po namin nagkaroon po siya ng symptoms, which is nawalan po siya ng pang-amoy at panlasa sa pagkain, in-isolate po agad namin siya,” she shared during the recent video conference of Bubble Gang.
A day after that, Lovely Abella said their “kasamabahay” had the swab test as well as her and Benj. It turned out she was the positive among them. Fortunately, she had completed her 14-day quarantine even before the birthday of her daughter.
However, that did not keep her from being “praning”. Lovely said that she still wears mask every time she goes out of their room. “Tapos may sarili po akong alcohol na lagi ko pong bitbit, para po lahat ng nahahawakan ko po ay naiispreyan ko po,” she added.

Lovely also had to use separate kitchen utensils and other household items in order to protect her companions in the house. She also revealed that there was a point the she can’t sleep already because of her condition and her worry for her loved ones.
“Kaya po masaya po ako ngayon, kasi dumaan po ako sa punto na na-depress ho talaga ako. Wala ho akong ginawa kundi umiyak, kasi natatakot po talaga ako para sa anak ko, dahil nga po asymptomatic ako, hindi ko alam kung tama ba yung ginagawa ko,” she shared.
Lovely Abella said that she and her family will undergo swab test again just to make sure.
