Here’s the reason why Korina Sanchez had this first impression on Yorme Isko Moreno
Broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez shared her first impression on Manila Mayor Isko Moreno as she said, “medyo diskumpyado ako nang una.”
Korina has been in the industry of broadcasting for more than three decades already and through her magazine show, she already interviewed various prominent and ordinary citizens.
Before the pandemic, the wife of former Senator Mar Roxas had the chance to interview Mayor Isko. The latter allowed the broadcast journalist to have a tour in the Manila City Hall.
In the new online show of Korina Sanchez titled Rated Korina, derived from her popular magazine show Rated K, she featured Mayor Isko Moreno.
“So much news about him. After the elections, he became Man of the Hour. Napakaraming balita tungkol kay Isko Moreno. Isa siyang artista na nag pulitiko na hindi inakala ng marami na sisikat nang husto ang bituin sa larangan ng public service,” Korina said.
Amid the interest of the public on the new Mayor of the capital city of the Philippines, the broadcast journalist revealed that she had a little apprehension.

“Medyo diskumpyado ako nang una ko siyang ininterview. Could all good things said about Mayor Isko or YorMe as they call him be for real? Have to say: I was taken and impressed,” she revealed.
Apparently, she has proven that the admiration that the public has toward Mayor Isko has a basis. In the vlog of Korina, the famous Yorme said that he accepts the fact that he cannot please everybody.
“Hindi mo naman mapipigilan na mag-isip ng masama laban sa’yo. Ang importante, if they do it, just be strong and try to cope with the challenges and believe in God,” the Manila Mayor said.
Meanwhile, Korina Sanchez has confirmed that she will be leaving ABS-CBN following the denial of its franchise.
