LTO-7 Drive-Thru Vehicle Registration Renewal Circulates Online
The drive-thru vehicle registration renewal of LTO in Region 7 (Central Visayas) goes viral on social media.
On Tuesday (August 11, 2020), the Land Transportation Office – Region 7 located at the MVIC Complex, Subangdaku in Mandaue City has registered thousands of vehicles on their first and only drive-thru vehicle registration renewal system.
According to the records of the Land Transportation Office 7 has registered around 2,412 vehicles and motorcycles. The agency reported that they have released 1,299 plates and 1,113 MV.
The LTO Region 7 started the program last July 6, 2020 as a part of the new normal while the country if facing a health crisis due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to their regional director Victor Emmanuel Caindec.
Caindec.also said that the system came from Davao Cityand they are glad with the outcome of the program especially during this time of pandemic.
“We are very happy with the outcome of our MVIC drive-thru especially in its first month,” Caindec said.
The LTO’s drive-thru vehicle registration renewal surely helps a lot of motorists, especially amid this health crisis.
