Korina Sanches Says She ‘Still Have Four Embryos’
KORINA SANCHES – Broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez answers question if she planning to have more kids.
Broadcast journalist Korina Sanches is considered one of the most well-known newscasters in the Philippines. On October 27, 2009, she married former senator and Department of Local and Interior Government (DILG) Secretary Mar Roxas.
Through surrogacy in the United States, she finally had her first babies. The married couple named their twins Pepe and Pilar.
Korina Sanchez has been busy taking care of her beautiful twins. She frequently posts their lovely pictures on her Instagram account. It can be seen in her pictures that she really enjoyed being a mom.
Based on a report from PUSH, Korina Sanches said she still has four frozen embryos. In her recent interview with writer and creative producer G3 San Diego, she revealed the reason why she decided to store embryos.
“I love kids. I love children. Bata pa lang ako parang nandoon na ako sa nursery ng Makati Medical Center tumitingin ng mga baby. So mahilig talaga ko sa bata. So I said wala pa akong boyfriend, wala pa akong asawa, magfi-freeze ako ng embryo ko,” Korina said.

Korina Sanchez also explained why she chose to freeze her embryos, not her egg cells. “Because the technology now — I don’t know why nature is like that — but eggs do not survive freezing eggs. Embryo meron na akong eggs, meron nang sperm,” she shared
The veteran broadcaster said she asked her dates before if they are willing to donate their sperms. they eventually said ‘yes’ so she was able to store 4 embryos.
According to the report, San Diego asked Korina Sanchez if she’s planning to have more kids. She told the writer that she is not ready to have more kids yet because Pepe and Pilar are already a handful.
“I don’t know. Hello no, lola na ako. Grabe ka. Pepe and Pilar are already a handful,” she answered.
