Korina Sanchez shares Vicky Morales trained in ABS-CBN
Kapamilya veteran broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez recalled the training days of now Kapuso anchor Vicky Morales in ABS-CBN.
Network rivalry between GMA and ABS-CBN is not just confined in the entertainment aspect. Sometimes, even on the news programs and current events shows the rivalry happens. However, this does not mean that there is a conflict between news presenters or people behind the news programs.
This is what Korina showed to her social media followers. During the recently-concluded PMPC Star Awards, the Rated K host shared on her IG account several photos with Kapamilya stars. However, one photo she shared was with Kapuso journalist Vicky Morales, the host of Wish Ko Lang.
In her caption, Korina revealed that Vicky trained in ABS-CBN before and that they really got along together at that time. She also congratulated the journalist from GMA. “Pag dating sa parangal, lahat kami sa industriya magkakapatid. I remember how GMA’s Wish Ko Lang Star Vicky Morales was once training in Channel 2 and we briefly worked together. Time flies. Congrats, Vicky,” she wrote.
Several netizens agreed to what Korina said in her caption but one netizen said that ABS-CBN should have kept Vicky. “Abs-Cbn should hv kept her….she’s a gem like you,” Instagram user @biyuda08 commented.
Meanwhile, Korina Sanchez is thankful for the achievement of her Sunday magazine show Rated K. “Thank you PMPC STAR AWARDS for the Best Magazine Show and Best Magazine Show Host Awards tonight. This is for my children, Pepe and Pilar,” she said.
