BuCor Releases Update on Status of Ruben Ecleo Jr Now Following His Arrest in Pampanga
RUBEN ECLEO JR – The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) gave an update on the status of the former Dinagat Islands Representative now following his arrest.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) and other security forces have several wanted personalities. Some of them are on the loose for months while others have been hiding for years.
In fact, there are even cases when certain personalities offered cash reward for their captivity. One of these instances took place under the administration of former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.
The former President offered a two-million pesos cash reward for the arrest of former Dinagat Islands Ruben Ecleo Jr. He’s facing charges over the death of his wife and graft and corruption. He was on the loose for around nine years.

Last Thursday, Ecleo was arrested by the Regional Intelligence Division-Special Operations Group and the Regional Mobile Force Battalion of the National Capital Region Police Office in Pampanga.
Recently, the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) issued an update on the status of former Dinagat Islands Ruben Ecleo Jr. now following his arrest. According to BuCor, the former politician was transferred to the New Bilibid Prisons.
Following the protocols amid the COVID-19 pandemic now, Ecleo was admitted at the Reception and Diagnostics Center (RDC). He will be under isolation for several days and monitored by the RDC medical staff. More updates may be posted soon.
