The photos of PNP-HPG personnel who started to apprehend motorcycle riders with no barriers elicits comments from netizens.
Over the past few weeks, a lot of motorists in the country are expressing their disappointment and dismay towards the government’s order to install barrier between a motorcycle rider and backrider.
However, many netizens have posted photos of motorists who were involved in vehicular accidents due to the barrier.

The Facebook page GMA News has shared the photos of PNP-HPG officers apprehending motorists and backriders with no motorcycle barriers. The photos garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the photos, it can be seen that the traffic officers are apprehending and issuing a violation ticket towards the motorcycle riders with no barriers. The officers started to implement the policy on Saturday (August 1, 2020).

The authorities are requiring barriers for the motorist with backriders. However, the policy only allows married couples and live-in partners only.
