Police Gives Update on PCSO Official Wesley Barayuga’s Death Investigation
PCSO OFFICIAL WESLEY BARAYUGA – The police authorities revealed the angle they eye as related to the incident that took the life of Mr. Wesley Barayuga.

PCSO official Wesley Barayuga was shot Thursday afternoon at the corner of Calbayog and Malinaw Streets. He was onboard his Mitsubishi Strada when the incident took place.
Based on a report on GMA News, the suspects Barayuga were on-board a motorcycle. The victim was shot through the passenger side of his vehicle.
Recently, the police authorities revealed the angle they eye as possibly related to the death of PCSO official Wesley Barayuga. According to Mandaluyong Police Chief Colonel Hector Grijaldo, the motive is possibly personal or work-related.
The Police Chief cited that Barayuga is a PCSO Board Secretary and there is possibility that there were contracts or operations that he did not permit. Based on the report, the authorities has retrieved CCTV footage but they cannot fully identify the suspect yet.
According to Grijaldo, the CCTV footage shows that the incident really came from thorough planning. They also checked on the background of Barayuga amid speculations that he’s engaged in the trade of drugs.
