PCSO Suspends Lottery Draw Following Enhanced Quarantine Declaration

PCSO SUSPENDS LOTTERY DRAW – Earlier, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office announced their suspension of the lottery draw.

This was in lieu of President Rodrigo Duterte’s declaration of an Enhanced Community Quarantine in the entirety of Luzon.

Those who ask assistance would be referred to the nearest hospitals with established Malasakit Centers.

Along with this, the Lotto Digit Games have also been temporarily suspended starting 4:00 P.M. March 17, 2020. Furthermore, the STL in the entire Luzon area will also be suspended effective today.

However, the STL in Visayas and Mindanao are to be monitored every day. But, the PCSO said that if the suspension of operations is needed, they would inform the public.

Moreover, even with the suspensions, the PCSCO stated they would be giving their full support in fighting COVID-19.

Previously, the PCSO approved P420M to fight the coronavirus. Additionally, on March 17, the PCSO also approved an additional 1 Billion for coronavirus countermeasures.
