JOHN REGALA – Filipino actor John Regala has this health problem he is currently suffering after getting viral helpless along the street.
John Paul Guido Boucher Scherrer or more popular as the actor John Regala is loved for his portrayal of several antagonist roles in Philippine movies and television series. He is actually tagged as the “Bad Boy” of Philippine action films, however, in a previous article, he went viral while helpless in streetside.
A concerned netizen helped him and took photos of him which went viral online. In the photos, the actor is seemingly weak and had a severe weight loss. “Nahihilo at utal na po magsalita,” says the person who found him.

Many hearts got broken over the current condition of the iconic actor. He is already 55 years old and according to a report from PEP, he has liver cirrhosis. Accordingly, this condition is late stage of scarring (fibrosis) of the liver. This is caused by many forms of liver diseases and conditions, such as hepatitis and chronic alcoholism.
He also has esophageal varices which is the enlargement of veins in the esophagus which accordingly affects the actor severely. This condition makes it hard for him to eat, causes vomiting, and blood excretion. Due to this, he takes a food supplement called Aminoleban Oral.
Fellow celebrities have already reached out to him and offered to give him the food supplement he’s taking but he reportedly wanted to receive money instead for their everyday expenses. He said during his recent interview, “Kung simpleng tao lang, hindi makakayanan ang ratsada ng problema na kinahaharap ko ngayon.”
