Pres. Duterte COVID-19 Test Result Released Prior To SONA 2020
DUTERTE COVID-19 TEST RESULT – Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte underwent coronavirus or COVID-19 testing.
Today, July 27, the 5th State of the Nation Address (SONA) of Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte will take place. Compared to the previous SONAs of the Chief Executive, there will be significant changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic now.
PH is one of the over 200 countries and territories battling against the pandemic now. The Department of Health (DOH) has recorded 80,448 cases of coronavirus with 1,932 deaths and 26,110 recoveries.
The Presidential Security Group (PSG) is implementing strict measures now to protect the safety of Pres. Duterte. Prior to the Duterte SONA 2020, the Chief Executive underwent COVID-19 testing.

Recently, Pres. Duterte’s COVID-19 test result was released. Based on a televised report of GMA’s Super Radyo DZBB, the President tested negative for coronavirus.
Several other political personalities who will be present at the SONA 2020 also underwent coronavirus testing. Compared to the previous national addresses of the President, the attendees will be limited.
The previous SONAs were attended not only by politicians but as well as their spouses. Reportedly, this time, around 50 people only will be attending the national event physically. Chambers were also prepared to divide the number.
