YouTube personality Mika Salamanca allegedly lied about this in a vlog update.
MIKA SALAMANCA – YouTuber Mika Salamanca lambasted online for allegedly lying about this thing in her apology video.
Pinay YouTuber was the 24th person arrested in Hawaii for breaking quarantine rules. Mika Salamanca is currently trending online after it has been reported that she was arrested in Hawaii over said violation. In a previous article, it been said that was bailed out after posting $2000 or Php 98,669.78.
She was spotted hanging out with friends and did activities such as hiking, dancing at Sephora at Ala Moana Center, and eating at a Korean restaurant. And she did those within her 14-day quarantine. The store where she danced in front confirmed the information to be true.
Now, in her video where she expressed an apology and admitted her mistake, people have pointed out something from the recording. She said there that some law enforcers came in to her house where she’s in quarantine and told her that she’s not in trouble.
She stated, “Sila po mismo yung nagsabi sa’kin na ‘You’re not in trouble. If you’re negative you can go out.’ which is sa lahat ng test po na kinuha ko po negative po ako.”
Salamanca also yielded a negative result in a swab test. She insisted that she stayed in her house for 14 days and finished the mandated number of quarantine days. However, the store said she was there within the required quarantine period.
Attorney General Clare E. Connors also stated as per KITV:
“None of my investigators would convey that information, as it is incorrect. The fact that Ms. Salamanca has so many followers makes her actions that much more dangerous and concerning. The spread of misinformation can have very severe consequences during an emergency situation like we are in now.”
